I am a recovering 'bought my pet food from corporate America' consumer. I have been clean for over nine years, since my distrust of this industry caused me to begin my own company. A premier multi-species expert with 35 plus years of experience formulated my product line from his vast knowledge of the science of nutrition. Nothing in the pet food is sourced from China. Our ingredients are tested before manufacture for possible toxins. My manufacturer, Crosswind Petfoods, has been nowhere near the recalls and I am proud to share that they are an EU Certified, APHIS, USDA & AIB facility. Since the beginning of April, all Kumpi finished product has been tested for melamine, cyanuric acid, amoriline, amorilide and aminopterin. All batch results have tested negative and I will continue to aggressively test to assure my customers that Kumpi pet foods are not only the best, but among the safest foods available for your pets. In the last two months our supplier has had to reject pork meat and bone meal at an alarming rate. We will no longer be using pork or beef; the only modification to the formula will be an increase in chicken meal. Our packaging will reflect these changes.
