My story starts in the early spring of 2006. I switched from XXXXÊto XXXX Senior Dry on the advice of a friend-supposed to be a top notch Food. Kiko was the first cat to become ill coughing and an infection of some sort - not sure what. He was treated with Prednisone and an antibiotic. The infection kept coming back every few weeks. In Jan. of 2007 all four of my cats were living at the Rockingham Vet Clinic. They were all coughing up fluid. On my next visit I asked my Vet if it could be something stupid like food as he was baffled too. That was one day after the first recall was issued.

honestly believe KumpiKat is the miracle cat food. 3 years ago or so I found a street kitten and named her Vegas. Vegas looked healthy, but had horrible eye issues. The vet diagnosed her with eye herpes which there is no cure for, but can be managed. Well the drops we were given didn't really do much, and we also tried other natural things and nothing worked. Enter KumpiKat April 2005. After 2 weeks on KumpiKat Vegas's eye herpes were GONE. She could actually open her right eye fully and it was clear and no discharge, it was amazing. To this day no sign of the eye herpes. Vegas is also a bigger girl, and had a really bad coat. It was dull, she had dandruff, and most of all it would come out in clumps. Since on the Kumpi she has a beautiful coat, has slimmed down, and her shedding has drastically decreased. My other two cats are absolute puff balls, and their coats are soooo shiny! I started using KumpiKat after receiving a sample at a cat show. I show Maine Coon cats and consider my cats quite spoiled. My female kitten at that time loved the sample of food and would not share it with any other cat. I now feed all my cats KumpiKat and never have problems with picky eaters turning up their noses at the food. No more vomiting either. After explaining what a terrible time I'd had trying to find a food my ultra-sensitive cat, Murray, could tolerate, a friend gave me a sample of KumpiKat. In January my husband and I inherited an 18 year old cat when his father passed away. He had been fed canned food (from the grocery store) all of his life, and was in pretty miserable shape. All of his teeth were completely rotten and he hadn't cleaned himself in months. The white parts of his fur were yellow; he was greasy and smelled terrible. Unfortunately I do not have a before picture, but due to his condition I was not expecting to have him for long.
 
The first thing I did was take him to the vet to have all of his teeth removed. While he was sedated he also received a much needed bath. I still fed him canned food for a while since that was what he was used to, but he still seemed rather lethargic.
 
His days consisted of hiding when the dogs came around and coming out of 'his' room for very brief periods to see us. At that time he was still quite afraid of the dogs and I'm sure he was missing the only friend he had for the last 18 years. Our dogs eat Kumpi, and I knew they made a cat food so thought it was worth a try to see if he would eat it. I was hoping it would make him feel better.
 
I brought it home and began feeding him with it. His dinner goes in the microwave with water for one minute, and then it sits for about 20 minutes to soften. At first he didn't know what to think and wouldn't eat it. Once he tried it we immediately saw a change in him. He began cleaning himself again. He decided the dogs were nothing to fear, just an annoyance that he must tolerate. One day I saw him try to play with one of the dogs' toys, so I bought him a couple of cat toys. Now he plays with them regularly. From the minute I open the bag when it is time to feed him he starts talking to me until he gets dinner. The change has been amazing --- he is incorrigible!

Being a long haired Maine Coon, Jo Jo has always required a lot of bathing and brushing to keep his 'blue coat' smooth and tangle free. After putting him on Kumpi, his tangles simply disappeared, his coat is shiny and soft and he now requires much less bathing.

During the first few weeks of transition, Jo Jo's feces was very strong as well as his urine. This was due to the fact that I was overfeeding him and once I got some professional input from the staff at Kumpi, I realized that although being a 14 lb. cat, he needed only 1/2 to 2/3 a cup of Kumpi to meet his nutritional needs.

My cat, Guy, is eight years old and always my friend through thick and thin. He contracted feline leukemia and was getting kinda thin, tired, and his coat was pretty tacky. I first adopted Mica from the shelter. His fur was dull and he was shedding quite a bit, especially for a two month old kitten. It's been thrilling to watch the changes in Tonga's condition since feeding her KumpiKat.
